Hull and Rudder Repairs
Our hull repairs - permanent or temporary - cover the renewal of hull plating damaged by impact or stress both above and below the water line. Repairs conducted by UCS include:
- Underwater welding of cracks, metal fusing, collision impact damages, plate corrosion by means of inserts or double plates
- Underwater dry welding in habitats or open cofferdams on vessels hulls
- Temporary and fast repairs by use of high resistance epoxy-cement to repair, seal cracks, collision damages, plate corrosion and defects. UCS is an authorised distributor of WENCON
- With the use of high resistance epoxy-cement UCS repairs seal cracks, collision damages, plate corrosion and defects
- UCS carries out emergency repairs that will enable the vessel to sail to a place where permanent repairs can be carried out after collision or grounding
Propeller and Thruster Repairs
- UCS offers propeller blade cold straightening of bent propeller blades
- UCS offers propeller blade cutting and trimming of damages utilizing diamond disks
